The insurance company Blue Shield claims that CoveredCA canceled my plan from June to October [redacted], which was not the case. After contacting Blue Shield who advised me to reach out to CoveredCA as the plan was acquired through them, I have already escalated the issue with both parties. Recently, I received a refund check from Blue Shield. My concern now is that my healthcare provider might bill me for all the services and medicines used during June to October [redacted].

I have been a Delta Dental member for the past 8 years without any interruptions. I transitioned from an employer plan to an individual plan and ultimately to Covered California/Delta Dental. Recently, when I tried to utilize my insurance at the dentist, I was informed of a 7-month waiting period due to a lack of prior coverage, which is incorrect. After reaching out to Delta Dental, they provided me with a document confirming no waiting period and stating I could use my Covered California-Delta Dental insurance without delay. Despite this, my dentist tried to submit my claim once more and it was rejected again.

I am calling from a broker's office on behalf of a client who provides affordable coverage to all employees. Recently, an employee expressed interest in canceling their insurance as they now have coverage with Covered CA. Our client is curious about what steps Covered CA would take in a scenario where the employee indicated they weren't offered affordable coverage, potentially resulting in them receiving a subsidy. Our client is seeking guidance on whether Covered CA would cancel the coverage or remove the subsidy. They are considering advising the employee to reach out to Covered CA to address this discrepancy.

Last year, my insurance agent advised me to include 85% of my social security gross annual taxable income and [redacted]% of my husband's gross annual income when applying to CC for subsidies in [redacted]. We followed this formula, and our tax accountant confirmed it was done correctly. However, he found that we might owe some of the subsidies back after running the numbers through his software, which was perplexing. He suggested reaching out to CC directly, but I've been unable to connect due to high call volumes. I just want to verify if the income declaration formula we used for [redacted] was accurate.

I am retired, and my former employer helps with our family health insurance. The premium I pay is significantly higher than what I qualify for through Covered California. I was denied enrollment in Covered California because I had access to coverage through my former employer. This is my second year attempting to enroll, and I believe my premium would be much lower if I could sign up.
