Referencing your Kirkland imported Smoked Salmon Lot ******-**** ***: (** Oz)**Love the product and have eaten smoked salmon and lox all my life. Latest double package has the same problem as others have had and I wish you could fix it: even with a very sharp, long-bladed knife, it is quite difficult to get a thin slice for your bagel or toast. It's a bit of a mush rather than separated cleanly into the convenient "pre-sliced" cuts advertised at the top left of the package. I've had other cuts of lox and smoked salmon that break much easier and wish yours did too. Even carefully removing the salmon from the cardboard backing and bending it slightly so as to make the cuts more defined did not help much. This product costs roughly $*.** per oz and if you can't slice it cleanly and end up with a mushy mess, you're not getting much of a bargain. Good taste, though!
