Last Friday ****** a message was left on my voicemail by someone named Angela (no last name provided), in regards to my Unemployment serverance*vacation survey hearing, along with a phone number to return her call the following week no later than Tuesday (today). I called the number provided throughout the day on Monday **** a total of ** times to hear an automated message that “the user is not. available and not taking messages”... Then it states that if you know the name of your party you can use the directory by name, but you need a last name which wasn’t provided in the VM message she left. What is even worst is the press “*” for the operator option only to get an another automated message stating “the user is not available” to be sent to the automated message “if you know your party’s extension please dial it now”. No extension was left on my vm... so I dial the main number and follow the prompts only to get the same automated run around.. SMDH. I have followed and completed every step requested by DOL in order to get the unemployment process done. This hearing is the last step before getting a yes or no answer regarding receiving unemployment benefits, but because there is NO human touch to this ratchet DOL system I am left to feel like a hamster on a wheel. Oh and just a FYI it is now Tuesday **** at *:** AM and I have been calling both the numbers left on my VM and the main number back to back since *:** AM and getting the same automated B.S. over and over again.... CT DOL “Powers That Be”, need to fix this and do it quick. You are tampering with people’s basic needs!! *IAmBeyondFrustrated
