The issue in GetHuman-jmirynow's own words
Slow internet speed.*I have a direct coaxial cable from X* junction box to MB **** cable modem (direct cable was replaced when I upgraded to the X* service). The modem is connected with a Ethernet cable directly to my computer via a * GB Ethernet card. *When Comcast tech suggested that it may be my modem, I went through support with a Motorola Tech who determined that the signal to noise ratio *SNR (dB)* on the ** channels There were no other problems with the modem performance. Downstream Bonded Channels was TOO high ( **.* to **.*) causing the slow internet speed. The tech indicated the SNR should be in the **'s with **.* the highest for a clean signal. Thus, it has been determined that the problem is the Comcast signal and not any hardware issues.*I am suppose to be getting at least a *** Mbps capacity on my account with Comcast. Using Xfinity speed test the result was *** Mbps... Using connected to Comcast at Claymont, DE the result was ***.** Mbps
