I think it was ***** that I called to tell Xfinity that I had to move from an Elder Care facility around ***** and to set up an app't for a technician to set up Internet service at a friends home and explained that person had Internet and I needed to transfer my I'net service to that address so I would not have to use hers'. When the Tech arrived he said he could not do it as Xfinity only allows one *Account per home. I have Dementia so the rest is hazy. I think I received a statement that I could not understand so I called Xfinity and they said to not worry about it because it was a bookkeeping problem.*I just received notice from Eastern Account System of *Conn. that my account was in for collection for $***.**.*I don't have that kind of money, I am **.** years old and handicapped living on Social Security.*Please help me!*Donald Harris, account ****************, Tel. ***-***-****

I did not understand the GetHuman procedures so I just called Comcast directly, the person could not explain why I was getting billed * months after I cancelled the service and did not offer any restitution, she agreed that I could pay $**.** a month until it was paid in full. She said everyone in her section was told they could not make any other financial offers.*If I had another choice I would switch carriers. I tried ATT a few years ago and was told the technicians had provided fiber optic up to my house, they must know something I don't because they would have had to go across my lawn without disturbing the grass for about ** feet. Then they said they only brought the cable to the distribution box near the street, gosh they must have used invisible cable because all the phone and cable wiring is underground! The final service that I received was using ** year old copper wire which could not carry high speed internet reliably. By the way the I finally found out the fiberoptic cable was only used up to a communication center ** miles from my house. *I have had Dish Network for almost ** years but their internet service is by AT&T. Nuff said.
