Help me with my issue
GetHuman-daven_bj's next move: talk to Citizenship and Immigration Canada again when they open.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada's call center is closed now. We will send GetHuman-daven_bj a reminder to call them when they open. Nothing to do for now but wait!
The issue in GetHuman-daven_bj's own words
Dear Madam or Sir:*I have been a Permanent Resident in Canada since September **, ****. For travel purposes all I needed was my U. S. passport and the IMM **** pink document. This changed after **** when eventually all Permanent Residents needed a card w*picture, renewable every * years.*A friend printed off the Permanent Resident renewal form for me awhile ago so that I could complete and send to the requested address.*At the Canadian government website, I have been unable to 'access it' to make my $**.** payment, print it off so that I could complete and send to the government address provided. When I click on the appropriate page (about ** seconds) I am informed that 'my time has elapsed' and to 'try again.' I have done so to no avail. *I am a ** year young female senior with no vehicle and am feeling very frustrated right now. When we had an 'operational payment form' where a person paid at a bank there was no problem. I doubt that I am the only person frustrated and unable to complete the payment and send onward to renew their PR.*My friend and I have been to two local offices so far only to be told that 'they cannot help us' at that site. Other than that, the site states that we must 'schedule an appointment.' I am wondering HOW we can DO that when NO phone number is provided anywhere to let you know how to contact them?*I DID notice that there is an 'immigration.ca' site which charges $**.** to pay before sending the form on to the government. However, it states that it has 'nothing to do with the Canadian government' and I cannot afford to waste my money if it is not a valid site.*ANYTHING at ALL that you can do to assist me will be greatly appreciated!*Even if you forward to the local MPP for **** South Millway, Mississauga, Ontario L*L *J*. Perhaps the MPP may be able to send me an email which will resolve this situation for my friend and I so that we can complete the process.*Respectful (although frustrated),*Barbara J. Davenport
