The issue in GetHuman2772882's own words
I am currently an employee for Chipotle Mexican grill, at the *** Blossom Hill Rd*San Jose, CA ******United States location. My manager is Cecilia Aguirre. When hired I was promised **-** hours a week. About a month or so in to me working at Chipotle, I was a victim to an electric scooter accident which impaired me from attending work for * days. When reporting this information to my manager, she seemed upset with me, and was very reluctant to give me both the days off. When returning to work I observed that she had cut my hours down to **-** a week. While we had recent hires, no other adult team members had their hours cut anywhere near as significantly, and she refused to give me a clear explanation for doing so. I approached her about the hours situation numerous times, in which she responded by saying she would adjust them, then simply not doing it. Just recently I developed a stomach ulcer, in which I forced to miss * day of work, due to excessively vomiting. Once again, my manager appeared irritated with my request. Upon returning to work I found that Cecelia had cut my hours down to **. After trying to access workday account, I found that my account said "terminated", and I could not access anything on it. For clarification I am still being scheduled for shifts, and am still able to clock into the system. But if I was terminated I was never told so or told why. I feel like I am being wrongfully retaliated against, over injuries I had no control over. I also feel if I have been terminated, it was wrongfully so, as I was never majorly reprimanded, never told I was discharged, and never given a reason why. As far as resolution, I honestly have no clue how Chipotle handles these forms of issues. But I do feel majorly mistreated and undervalued as a hard working Chipotle employee.
