I boarded a greenline train ***** around **:** p.m. sat for approximately * minutes asked another passenger when the train would be taking off he prompted me to read the minitors which read ** minutes. ** minutes until departure would've made it for **:** it never took off. * minutes later I asked the csr in the booth was she aware of the time of departure unaware the engineer was in the booth conversing with her, she came out and yelled "first of all they called and delayed him so its not his fault" walked back in and closed the door. The engineer in turn came out and said he was delayed until **:** p.m I explained that I may not make my train he turned and shrugged his shoulders at me turned back around walked on the train boarded and proceeded to take off at **:** p.m which leaves me to believe that he wasn't delayed until **:** p.m and that he was more concerned about conversing with the lady in the booth versus doing his job. I am very dissatisfied with this service I am going to miss my train back home to Wisconsin and have to sleep in the Metra station. I would like a full *.** refund for my troubles and I hope, both, the engineer and csr are reprimanded and no one else has to endure this type of mistreatment by city officials.
