I recently moved and finally managed to gather all my rented books from last semester that were scattered in different boxes. I shipped all four books back to you today. Unfortunately, I was charged the full price for the books due to my late return. I read online that if the books reach your warehouse within 7 days of the charge, I am eligible for a full refund. I am hoping this applies in my case. I returned the books promptly and wish to avoid this unexpected charge. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello, I'm Laila Binshujaa, and my email address associated with the account is [redacted] I recently returned some rental books, but I noticed that I have been charged for them. When I reached out to you previously, you mentioned that you hadn't received the books. I spoke to UPS, and they mentioned that without the receipt, they can't track where my package is located, and unfortunately, I don't have the receipt. I am certain that I returned the books. In fact, I need one of the books for this semester and have rented it again. It wouldn't make sense for me to rent the same book again if I hadn't returned the original copy. Thank you

On January 4, I received an email notifying me that my rental textbooks were checked into the warehouse. Subsequently, I was incorrectly charged the full price for the textbooks. On January 24, I received three separate emails confirming refunds for the overcharges. The amounts to be refunded are $9.70, $[redacted].87, and $10.68. However, I have not yet received any of the refunds, and my Chegg account still indicates that the three books remain on my account. I kindly request the prompt issuance of the owed refund amounts.

I returned my books at the end of January for a refund within the proper timeframe. I am waiting for the refund to be credited back to my account. Additionally, I need assistance canceling my Chegg Study subscription. Despite canceling it in the past, I continue to be charged for it. I haven't used the service for some time and I attempted to cancel it via chat, but it seems the charges persist.

I encountered an issue with Chegg where my account was unexpectedly canceled due to "too many users" when I was simply using both the mobile app and computer simultaneously. This led to me being unable to return a textbook I had rented previously. As a result, I was charged the full price of $[redacted] for a book I had no intention of keeping. I have been struggling to reach out to their customer service for months now in hopes of returning the textbook and receiving a refund. Despite my efforts, I have not received any response from Chegg regarding this matter. I simply want to return the unwanted book and get my money refunded as soon as possible.

My account was restricted due to unusual activities, and despite explaining that I have access to multiple devices for work, school, and personal use, it was canceled without warning. I was not aware of the terms stating only one or two devices are allowed, and I believe I should have been given a warning before losing access to the service I pay for. I accidentally resubscribed, resulting in a charge to my blocked account. I request either to have my account fixed for use on one or two devices or not be charged for a blocked account. I've waited 45 minutes on hold with customer service to no avail. I am frustrated with Chegg and just want a resolution. I hope someone can address this matter seriously as it is causing me a great deal of distress.

I am interested in buying some of the books I rented for the semester. However, when I try to purchase a specific book for $[redacted] under the "Extend/Purchase your rentals" tab, I noticed that the same book is available for only $13 if I select the "buy" option from the main screen. Is it necessary for me to return the books I currently have and reorder them to get the lower price? Additionally, will I be refunded the nearly $[redacted] I paid to rent the books originally? Recently, my experience with Chegg's study services has been disappointing. I have been denied access to explanations for concepts in my textbooks, which has been a valuable resource for my studies. I pay for this service, and it is disheartening to be denied access without violating any terms. Losing this resource would greatly impact my ability to understand course material, especially while balancing work and school. My account was restricted due to an abnormal amount of activity. Despite paying $15.00 monthly for Chegg, I am confused why this restriction occurred. The system prompts me to reset my password to regain access. I have tried this 20 times today, with no success. This issue is frustrating as I am unable to access the account I pay for, especially when trying to study for an upcoming exam. Please, resolve this matter promptly.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with my subscription. Today, I was initially locked out of my account due to excess usage. Upon logging back in, the system indicates that I do not have an active subscription and prompts me to make a payment, even though I recently paid for this month's subscription, and it should not have expired yet. I used [redacted] to sign up, and despite being charged by my bank, the platform does not acknowledge my payment status. I attempted to contact customer service but was unsuccessful. I have proof of payment from both PayPal and my bank and can provide it if needed.

Hello, my account [redacted] was unfairly suspended on February 14, [redacted] because of a violation of the terms of use that I admit to. I had to switch phones quickly during a timed quiz to avoid running out of time. This was an unintentional error, and I did not share my account access with anyone else. Hello, I recently observed a charge on my account subsequent to enrolling in the easybib free trial. Despite no longer utilizing the trial, I attempted to cancel the account post trying out the service. This charge has caused my bank account to overdraft, putting me at risk of incurring an overdraft fee if not resolved promptly. Being a low-income college student, this simple mistake will significantly impact me. Kindly advise if there is a way to reverse the charge to prevent an overdraft on my account. My Chegg account got suspended recently, but it has been reinstated today. I want to clarify that I'm the sole user of my account. I switch between work, school, and my dorm, each having its own IP address. No one else has access to my account, and the recent suspension caused inconvenience when I needed the services the most. I hope to avoid any false accusations in the future, as all the questions asked were in my usual format, and the payment method is in my name only. It's evident that I'm the only one using the account, so I'm puzzled by the suspicion of other users.

I received an email regarding suspicions of sharing my account. I believe I know why this happened. I want to clarify that I have not shared my account with anyone and I am dedicated to using it solely for my personal activities. These false accusations not only inconvenience me financially, as a college student, but also disrupt my schedule during critical moments. I urge your company to improve the process of identifying account sharing accurately. As a busy college student taking multiple classes across different institutions and utilizing various resources for learning, the diverse sources I access should not be misconstrued as sharing my account. I request either the restoration of my access or a refund, as I strongly refute the claim of account sharing. If my account access is not reinstated or refunded, I will consider taking legal action. Hello, I've been a loyal customer of Chegg for almost three years. Recently, I posted two written lessons on the platform. One was promptly answered by a tutor, but unfortunately, the other one expired without a response. Chegg assured me I wouldn't be charged for the unanswered lesson. I requested a specific tutor for the second assignment, and she completed it within the agreed 2-hour timeframe. However, I was shocked to discover multiple unauthorized charges totaling $[redacted] on my bank statement today! I was expecting only a $50 charge for the first assignment and 30-minute tutorial. Feeling very let down and misled by Chegg, I believe it's unfair to be billed for services not received. I missed the 21-day deadline for a full refund. I am requesting a partial refund for the books I returned within one month. Due to the Coronavirus situation, our classes shifted to online learning in April, making the books unnecessary. I understand the policy, but given the circumstances, I believe a partial refund would be fair. Many students are facing similar challenges. Chegg assured me I wouldn't be charged for the unanswered assignment. When selecting a specific tutor for help, I allotted 30 minutes for the first assignment and 2 hours for the second. To my dismay, upon reviewing my bank statement today, I noticed Chegg has overcharged me for these services. I believe I should only be charged $50 for the first assignment, as the tutor spent 30 minutes, and $67 for the tutor's 2 hours on the second assignment.
