I started my background check on ********. I completed the form that was sent to me by checkr asking me to verify my SSN which launched me into my background check. It is now ******** and my record still says pending. I received an email from the checkr help desk stating..*“Thanks for contacting us! I've looked up your background report and it appears that we were unable to verify your Social Security Number (SSN). You should've received a separate email notification, which includes a link that will allow you to re-enter your SSN. In order to move forward with your report, please locate that email and follow the steps to re-enter your SSN correctly. **Please verify that you are submitting a Social Security Number and not a Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). Your report will continue processing once the correct number has been entered correctly and verified. Upon completion, your report will be available for download in our Applicant Portal. “**However, I did completely that information on *****.. I tried to go in and complete the required information again and it tells me my background is pending and will not let me re enter the information. I go on to the applicant portal, enter MY NAME, FULL SSN, AND BIRTHDATE and it lets me know it’s pending. *If I haven’t provided my SSN how do you have it on file, and how can I access the pending information?*Can someone please help me with this? To get the background completed.
