The issue in GetHuman-alindstr's own words
I'm currently on hold with British Airways trying to resolve a problem with my Avios points on my Chase British Airways Visa card. I called your team, they said that the issue was that my card number was not associated with the correct account. My account number (with BA) is ********* the card has the account number ******** associated with it, which means my points for my card purchases are going to the wrong BA account. **I would like to get my points, and the person I spoke to at Chase said that I needed BA to chase the account associated with the card. I've been on hold now for half an hour. I have spoken to a representative but he's in another country and clearly does not understand the nature of the problem. He keeps trying to tell me my Avios balance - I know what my balance is, and I have explained the problem to him exactly as I have here. He doesn't understand and he has said he'll transfer me to a manager, but that appears to be a process involving another indefinite hold. **Is there ANY way for a Chase rep to speak to a BA rep to resolve this issue? I feel like I'm wasting a lot of time being the go-between when this seems like a simple issue of updating an account number.
