I sent back an Apple ID thru UPS. It was delivered to Charter Communications Returns in Grove City, Idaho on **** and signed by "Winters". I received a phone call today from Spectrum telling me that Apple will not take back the Apple TV because it was "opened". I insisted that it was wrapped and I was referred to Aplcare . When I called Apple they told me that they had nothing to do with the return and it was between me and Spectrum. Why was I referred to Apple by your billing department if they have nothing to do with this? When I returned the *Apple TV it was wrapped so I don't know why or who is saying that it wasn't. As a consequence, I'm being charged $***.**. I would like to know what "seal" was broken and who made the determination and how.
