Watch a cable channel ... I turned on my TV. A red x with a white * appeared on a gray screen. I turn the TV off. I unplugged each cord to cable box and plugged back in.*Then a gear with a bar below appeared on the screen. When the bar had gone from *** to completely white, the Red x and white * reappear.
This has happened before—-as well as frequent loss of signal
I want a fail safe solution that works.
