The issue in GetHuman-pamdh's own words
We wanted to pay our bill up and get internet back. We were told it would be *** dollars! Not that we owe that much but we were grandfathered into an early termination fee! Who does that! We were never told that upon connection. When people get grandfathered into something it is usually for their Benifit not the company’s. So that is *** dollars that could be waived but you refuse to do it. We also are getting charged again for equipment that we have which is stupid because if you were to install our service we would need the equipment back anyway. I guess I am unclear what customer service means to century link. You know things happen in people’s lives that you can’t control and that is why we had to stop service with you. I guess you don’t feel you need your customers. It’s really a shame because every business that we had to deal with has been fantastic except for you. Please explain why you cannot let us pay what we owe and start service again. Are you going to fold if we don’t pay you the termination fee which is stupid to begin with. You don’t even have that fee now for customers.
