I was on Carnival Cruise Bkg *JCS**.*There was an issue with our boat and we ended up having a delayed boarding. When we reached the dock, they told us it was best to check in our suitcases because of the uncertainty of boarding time. My mom needed special boarding with wheelchair and since we didn't know how long we had to wait to get on, I decided to checkin our bags. I usually always carryon. I asked if the * wine bottles for the * people in our room would be fine and we were told it would be good. The bottles ended up being thrown out. This was because the ship was late and we were misinformed by the staff. We lost *** dollars worth of wine bottles and were forced to buy drinks on the boat. I believe we should have some type of credit to a future cruise due to this grave error. Thanks. Saikat Mukherjee Gold Member
