First cruise- terrible (this has not been fixed so I’m not sure why it’s saying it was!!! )

Have a good vacation with my family!! Instead we had a very stressful & uncomfortable one! I want the cruise line to realize how unhappy they are making their guest & to show a little bit more compassion!! ... Horrible experience on very first cruise! We paid for all sorts of extras, which didn’t happen!! We got the in room decorations*gifts and they were not even set out! When we first arrived our room was promised to be ready and when we got to it the room was not even close to ready! We didn’t even know the gifts were in our room until the second day bc they were in a bag in the closet in the back! The couch bed was a nightmare! Hard as a rock and I asked for something at service desk and they told me to go to room and somebody would be right there. I waited over an hour and then I went back, was told somebody as coming right now! Another hour later I went to find somebody, the housekeeping guy told me would send somebody in ** min. Waited ** and then he came down himself, only to tell me that somebody will be there soon! Again I waited ** min and then somebody came and knocked on the door. They gave me a blanket to lay down!!! That’s it!!! My son didn’t hardly sleep the entire trip and that caused for a extra horrible trip! I asked if we can just have one of the cot beds that I seen in other rooms and they saod those are only for the people that paid for the extra bed!!!! We had paid for a suite with balcony!! That’s ridiculous!!! Not to mention the * hour wait for get off the boat in key west which caused us to miss our excursion and took two hours of our time away from us!!! Looks like our next cruise will be with a different cruise line!! Horrible customer service and experience!!**My wife booked the cruise. We sailed to Cozumel and key west**HAS NOT BEEN FIXED!!!
That they are losing customers very quickly! Many people told us not to use the carnival cruise line! We didn’t listen bc we wanted to do the Dr. Seuss theme!
For somebody from the cruise line to acknowledge their mistakes and employees acting as though they could not care less!
I understand that things happen and that the customer service people were very busy! I felt I gave them plenty of time to fix the issue and I even suggested they give us the other bed. I was rudely told it was for the people who paid for that, as if we didn’t pay plenty more than enough for our room which was hot as **** & we could not get. A bed!!!!
I tried to talk to many people on the cruise, I called a few times the day after and I have tried to get ahold of anybody I can since then through email and social media!!
