I was trying to add my wife as a Secondary Account Holder to my newly-created Money Market account. ... I have a CapitalOne Money Market account, to which I want to add my wife as a Secondary Account Holder. *I've gone through the various steps online, but the *-step verification does not work for my mobile number, and has now locked me out from adding any more numbers. **I would prefer that the verification code be given to me by a CALL to my home phone number, which does not have text messaging. **Please tell me how I can obtain a verification code.
This is frustrating because I've tried several times, and the *-step verification for obtaining a verification code does not work with any of my phone numbers.
Please CALL my home phone number with a verification code when needed, instead of trying to text the code.
We've had CapitalOne accounts for many years, dating back to the transition from ING Direct. *Never any credit problems or missed payments.
I've tried Chat, which did work for obtaining a verification code when I recently set up a CapitalOne CD and added my wife as a Secondary Account Holder. **I tried Chat again to add my wife when I set up a *** Money Market account, *but the Chat person said we both would need to call CapitalOne to get her added. *I've tried calling, but don't know what number to use and don't how to work my way through the automated phone system to talk to a person who can make the change.
