I specifically purchased Canon Products for their US based customer support. Anytime I have called in the past I was able to get a technical support in a reasonable amount of time, generally less than ** min. I happen to have an issue an have called on * different occasions at different times of the day. Each time I get placed in a que with an announcement that was time is in excess of a hour! WHO HAS * HOUR TO WAIT ON A CALL FOR SUPPORT. I did try on a few occasions to wait hoping that it would not be that long and had to hang up to take care of other business. I am once again waiting over a hour to speak to a technical support person! I called an spoke to Sandy Employee *** who is supervisor of Customer Service to express my dismay about this situation. She advise it has been an issue for over * weeks! How can you not have an alternative option to obtain techincal support? At least make an effort so your customers are not put into this unattainable position! Set up an e-mail where the customer support person can call back or have the outgoing announcement accept the phone * of your customer so tech support can call them back.
