So I bought a tmobile phone from a friend at school so I naturally checked online to see if it was reported lost or stolen. Everything checked out as clean, so I tried to use the mobile device unlock app so I can use my boost mobile SIM card in it, but it says it is eneligable. So in an effort of seeing it was clean and to use it as my phone with the boost mobile SIM card I want to find out if I should take the physical phone to a tmobile shop or a boost mobile shop and see if they can unlock the phone for me. I am able to use the phone on Wi-Fi such as internet, games, apps, etc. I was able to copy all my accounts and data to it as well so that shows me that I'm able to use it freely without any trouble, and the only thing is trying to unlock my device to use with boost mobile. I even tried going online on what to do but I've yet to find a solution. If necessary here's the IMEI number for this phone* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * . Any kind of feedback will be really helpful, thank you in advance.
