Paul Henry and Ana Tacher visit BONEFISH GRILL, University Ave. Coral Springs, FL**DATE: DECEMBER **, ******TIME: *:**PM* We arrive at the Bonefish Grill and report in to the attendant for our *:**pm reservation.**TIME: *:**PM*We are seated. **TIME: *:**PM**Our server (Evelio) arrives and takes our drink order.**TIME: *:**PM **Our drinks and fresh bread are brought to our table. We place our appetizer AND main dish order.**TIME: *:**PM**TIME: *:**PM**Our appetizer arrives (Bang Bang Shrimp)**TIME: *:**PM* *TIME: *:**PM*Our server comes by to inform us the restaurant is OUT of lobster tails. We are quite disappointed as this dish was my MAIN reason for coming this night. Having been an HOUR since our order, he asks if they could substitute another seafood. He indicates that our meals will be comped due to this inconvenience. We decide on a second choice.**TIME: *:**PM**Observing the restaurant, we are noticing NO MAIN DISHES coming out. Only drinks and appetizers. We finally see a couple dishes come out….and to our surprise, it’s lobster tail! And this coming to patrons who were seated after us.**TIME: *:**PM**Our server comes by and says it should be soon, he’s going to go check. My fiancee asked what was the issue, is there only one cook? He says we are working hard to prepare your food.**TIME: *:**PM**TIME: *:**PM* *Having been * hours, we ask another server to get our server. He comes over and apologizes, he does not know WHEN our food will come out. We decide to leave. He apologizes and says he will take care of our bill. WE LEAVE. My birthday meal gone!*****This experience has left a sour note to my experience with BONEFISH GRILL. Please understand- the drinks were great - bread delicious - appetizer wonderful, but the wait was not acceptable.**By the way, we noticed a LOT of online orders being filled, yet the service to the patrons in house receiving nothing. ALL during our * hours we notice these orders being filled yet ours not. **Now, I appreciated the server comping our dishes because of the “NO LOBSTER TAILS.” I appreciate the comping of our bill as we could not stay any longer. OF COURSE, AFTER * HOURS, I CAN SEE THE ADVANTAGE OF NOT SERVING US. The restaurant doesn’t lose money since it was going to be comped….and since we LEAVE, the restaurant only pays for cocktails and appetizer. **I also think that the cooks were working on the ONLINE ORDERS before in house patrons.**AND WHAT DID WE GET. YES, free drinks and appetizers. NO MEAL. I went to BONEFISH GRILL for one reason only. STEAK AND LOBSTER TAIL. ***I believe that a minimum of * complimentary Steak and Lobster meals are in order.
