I am writing with a complaint and request for an immediate refund ASAP. I agreed to a free trial of the Blue Apron service based on the recommendation of a friend. The day after I received my first delivery, I attempted to cancel the service. After seeing the quantities of food I did not feel it was nearly worth the price, and based on the language of the free trial agreement, I knew I needed to cancel quickly. However, despite it being less than ** hours after my first delivery, I was notified that I could not cancel. I assumed this had to be a glitch, since after all, the purpose of a free trial is to be allowed to TRY the product before signing up to pay for it. **However, I was just notified by my bank that an additional week’s charge appeared on my account two days AFTER I attempted to cancel my account. **The Blue Apron Free trial is obviously a wildly misleading offer. I expect an immediate refund to my account for the full amount charged, and a discontinuation of deliveries, as requested last Saturday.
