Our dryer broke, so we ordered a new dryer on ********. We were hoping to get it ASAP but the soonest delivery*install available was ***. Due to the long delivery window, I took *** day off of work and they arrived about *:**pm, after the *-hour window. As the drivers unboxed the dryer, they called me outside and showed me that it had been damaged and one side was totally bent in. The dent affected the functionality of the dryer, so we refused delivery and were asked to call the next morning to schedule a *nd delivery. I did so and was given Friday **** from **-* for the replacement dryer, so this time my husband took off of work. It arrived and was installed. However, that evening when I attempted to use it, it worked for about * minutes and it tripped the circuit breaker. We checked the requirements and it was within the range. We tried another outlet and the same thing happened. After resetting everything, we got it to run * dry cycle without tripping the breaker. The next morning, it again tripped the breaker when we attempted to use it. Each time we reset the breaker and try it, it works for only seconds and there is a flash inside the dryer and it trips the breaker. I called again today and had to wait ** minutes for a call back and was disconnected right when they called me back. I called again and waited ** minutes to speak to someone and was placed on several lengthy holds. They have now scheduled me for a *rd attempt Monday **-*. In the meantime, my family needs clean and dry towels and clothes, so I will be heading to the laundromat. This has been a nightmare and a huge inconvenience for us. I’m really hoping that the *rd machine does not have any issues.
