I wrote a deposit check $*,*** for a home entertainment and security system that costs more than $**,***. *The check was denied by what I was told is a new security company that screens checks. After several calls and many questions, including my S.S. *, the mechanical voice told me my check was denied due to no prior history with that company. *After a number of conversations with the tech I was working with, I was told that nothing could be done, but I could give them a cashiers check or credit card. My home is owned by my LLC. So I explained the money had to come from that. Was still refused. Really? What planet are you people from? No call to Merrill Lynch, who oversee this account, no checking on the checking acct. and routing number, and no simply depositing the refundable deposit to see if it clears. I can't stop laughing. I can go elsewhere. But you just lost more than $**,*** and any future business.
