August *rd I took ownership of my home.Agust **th Bell Canada installed satellite TV, not until August **th could I convince Bell Canada that they cannot provide me home phone service until they install a telephone line from their pole to my house. As of August **th A Phone line was finally installed, I had requested unlimited local calling for the province of Ontario on an unlisted private telephone number.September *th I receive a telephone bill for $***.** for a full month which I paid through BMO Telephone banking confirmation ******* paid on telephone number ***-***-**** account *********zzz*** which is the account number supplied to BMO bank for the above telephone number. Next I start receiving telephone calls from people I do not know asking specifically for myself by name. So I call bell Canada and speak to a lady in Montreal whom checks everything out and confirms that I had ordered a private unlisted telephone number but was given a number that was listed and published instead. She then corrected it gave me a new telephone number and said I would have to pay $**.** plus $*.** a month for an unlisted number. As soon as this call was completed my telephone rings and its a lady in the Filipines insisting there is no unlisted private numbers available in my area. I told her she was full of nonsense, didn*t know what she is talking about and told her it had already been taken care of. Next I start receiving telephone calls from the Filipenes saying I am * months in arrears on my Bell Canada telephone bills, so I say you are wrong, Ive only had a telephone with Bell Canada for * weeks and have already paid my first bill, then she basically calls me a liar , refuses to take a payment confirmation number from my bank and hangs up. After this I try calling Bell Canada Customer service and each time my call is transferred to the Filipenes after I have repeatedly asked to speak to someone in the Toronto, Ontario Head Office Customer care. Day after day every * minutes I am pestered non stop by this same lady in the Filipenes who threatens me non stop to pay a minimum of $***,** or she will shut my telephone down. I warned her if she shut my telephone off that I would in fact hire a lawyer and launch a lawsuit against her for harassment, fraudulent activities, grief and wrongfull billing pracrices. This did not stop her from calling me all day everyday between *am and **:**pm. Finally last week I was able to speak with a lady in billing and accounts in the Toronto Office who discovered that the money I had paid was used on a non existent account and requested that I ask my bank BMO to contact Bell Canada and demand the monies I had paid on my telephone be returned to my bank account so that Bell Canada could then withdraw this payment and pay it on the correct account. Here's where it get really confusing, Bell Canada has now provided me * different customer ID numbers. I Still have not received my money back from Bell Canada.BMO Bank opened and investigation saying it would take about a month to complete and retrieve said monies from Bell Canada so that they could then pay Bell Canada again on the correct ID Number, but just what is the correct number now? I called Bell Canada back in Toronto and confirmed with them that I had notified my bank what transpired and the Bell Canada employee said thank you because they had no way of retrieving these monies without my bank requesting it be returned to me. This sounds like nonsense to me but regardless I did what Bell Canada requested. Next Bell Canada employee in accounts and billing office in Toronto says I do not have to pay the $**.** fee for changing my number to unlisted private and changing to a new number as this was Bell Canada's fault not mine, then she also states that I should not have received my first bill until after September **th and said she was issuing a reimbursement to me for being over charged on my first telephone bill and would receive this reimbursement on my third bill and also that my second bill would not be made out until September **th. Today it is only October **th and I have as of last Friday received a second bill in the amount of $***.**. Now would you kindly explain this to me considering I have only had a telephone line at my home for the past * weeks? There is no way in **** I'm paying Bell Canada $***.** especially when I have only had telephone service for * weeks and already paid them $***.**. As soon as my call with this lady ended, my telephone rang immediately again and from the lady in the filipenes threatening me again demanding I pay a minimum of $***.** immediately or she would disconnect my telephone line. I told her listen to me, this is all your doing this nonsense not mine and to please call the Toronto Office and have then set you straight, she then says she has no way of calling them so I just hung up after advising her to stop calling me immediately. Well needless to say every time I have tried since that day to call customer care in Toronto and asked to speak to someone in Toronto customer care or in accounts and billing, every call has been transferred to the Filipenes! On Monday morning of this week my telephone was disconnected by Bell Canada., Yesterday I received an e mail from a Deborah senior excutive customer care Bell Canada saying she has been trying unsuccessfully to contact me through my bell Canada telephone number and also my cell number. First does she not realise that she cannot call me on my telephone since Bell shut it down? Also as I do not havecell service signal in my area whichBell is well aware of how then did she think she could call me on my cell phone? I'm really beginning to wonder about everyone working for Bell Canada not having a clue about much of anything. Here is where I stand on this right now, I am ** years of age a senior citizen who is complately fed up with Bell Canada and as far as I am concerned Bell Canada owes me an apology plus they can come to my home pick their PRV and remove evry piece of their equipment including their wire from my home to their telephone pole completely and I will give all of my business to xplornet instead, at least they are reliable and easy to talk to and offer far more then Bell does on a bundle package for a lot less in costs.
