The following is an inquiry before I purchase the Behringer UMC *** HD audio interface. Please help me, music store technical support has been unable to:**I want to be able to MIDI IN*OUT my electronic drums to the UMC *** (standard MIDI cables, not A*B USB) so that I may trigger voices from my laptop (from either standalone - like Superior Drummer * - or DAW Vst) AND hear the sounds as I play (live sound, not recordingb*playback) through * powered monitors (simultaneously). So, can the *** do that, and if so, how do I rig it?* *Additional info: The powered monitors are a pair of JBL *** mkii, and one Roland PM-* Vdrum monitor. The JBLs are to provide good mid to high range (high toms, snare, cymbals), and the Roland's **" speaker to provide good low to mid (low toms, bass drum). The monitors would serve a second purpose in addition to "outing" sound for live edrums: being used for recording*composition playback. The * powered monitors can't be "daisy chained", and I can't afford a subwoofer to replace the Roland for low end sound, so I'm hoping the * main outputs - the * XLRs going to the L and R JBL monitors, and the ***" going to the Roland will work - and if so, would I have to disconnect*reconnect the JBLs from XLR main out to RCA to ***" for playback?
GetHuman-kidb did not yet indicate what Behringer should do to make this right.
