The issue in GetHuman-juliijac's own words
I placed a claim for stolen device back in Nov-Dec of ****. My husband and I stayed at a hotel. The device was left inside the laundry center, when we went back to retrieve it, it was gone. We got an email from someone saying "Found your iPad call *** *** **** it's at the extended stay *** diemer road". We reached out to this person for giving them sometime to return it but they never answered. We also emailed but got nothing. We then understood this person was not going to return the device and reported it stolen. We put a claim in. Asurion said originally said the device was off. That's because we suspended the line immediately after it was gone. Then the Asurion rep said it was no registered slot for it. I have always maintained Total warranty protection for every line on my Verizon account. The three of us get on the line, (the asurion rep, Verizon rep and myself) and we "open up a slot" so that the warranty could be satisfied. I placed another claim. It was still denied or voided. I placed another claim in recently and now they are saying its after the event and outside of the ** coverage limit. You cannot win with these guys. Its just very disappointing. I just want resolve.

GetHuman-juliijac did not yet indicate what Asurion should do to make this right.
