The issue in GetHuman-gcwik's own words
My first dna results came back as unable to pull any dna from my sample. Never was explained as to why or how this happened. I followed all instructions to the letter when providing my sample. I took another test. The results for this test, I believe are incorrect. Re: ethnicity, results do not match what I know from an extensive family tree. The story over time, chart doesn’t show paternal g-grandparents that were born in Eastern Europe in late ****, and immigrated here in between **** and ****. Nothing else seems to make any sense. Also why don’t you show a chromosome Ancestory chart. I’m having a hard time trusting these results. I realize their are a lot of variables. Assuming most of the dna is coming from my paternal side, they should be more accurate. Or is most of the dna coming from maternal side. Since the first test was not viable, the second test doesn’t seem very accurate, what should I do. *Thank you*Gregory Cwik
Not sure, what to do next. I’m having issues with the results of first test, and results of second.
My wife an I have both been tested, she also referred * family members to be tested, and they were. We have had a U.S. Discovery Membership and World Explorer Membership for about * years or more. In that time she has been searching almost daily for my g-g-grandparents and her paternal and maternal g-g-grandparents without any luck. Even though we know about where and when they were born. Can’t find any records to show birth or marriage. It seems like U.S. records are really easy to find, but when it comes to European and Spanish records, they told her they probably haven’t been indexed. So we decided to take the dna test, to try to narrow down our searches. Which in my case seems to be unreliable.
No.
