Agreement * *********, **** N Camino Pimeria Alta, Tucson, AZ *****, ***-***-****. Called and spoke with Gerardo on the afternoon of Dec *, ****. Told him we had a cracked waste pipe under the slab of our house. We are selling the house on **-**-** and the purchasers require the repair to be done by a particular contractor. Gerardo said that AHS may pay a reduced amount if we use a contractor other than one chosen by AHS. He said the first step was to have a plumber chosen by AHS come out to verify the problem. He said that he would set it up and someone would call me. I got a call from Supreme plumbing the morning of **-*. They couldn't come out until **-**. I realized that time was too short to let that much time go by before Supreme Plumbing could come out to inspect the problem. I called AHS back and was on hold for ** minutes before someone came on. There was a significant language barrier, but they told me Gerardo was incorrect and that AHS would pay nothing if we used someone AHS had not chosen. After I hung up I realized that I needed to cancel the service call, so I called Supreme Plumbing and cancelled the appointment for **-**. They said that since the charge for that visit is billed through AHS, I would have to call AHS to cancel the charge. I called AHS and was on hold for ** minutes (by the clock!) and after going through the automated system to input my contract information and then confirming it with the person who answered the call I told her that I wanted to cancel the service request because we couldn't use the contractor AHS had designated and ...then the call was cut off. AHS had all the information needed to know who I was, what I wanted and how to contact me. After a ** minute wait on hold, one would think that the customer deserved a call back from AHS when the call was cut off. I tied a chat session after that last call, but the person said that I needed to call Customer Service. Am getting ready to move. I spent more than an hour on hold with AHS yesterday. I want the $** service fee for a service call that wouldn't have happened until next week cancelled. That is all I want. I have already called the local contractor and called them off. All I want is a notification that AHS has cancelled the charge. If I can get that AHS will never have to answer another call from me...ever.
