Hi Mr. Bezo, my name is Ashley Goode I’m a driver for your flex program, I was wrongfully suspended yesterday for a customer incident. Sir I delivered a package to okatoma Park in Hattiesburg MS. As I was coming through the park I was driving **mph I didn’t see the sign that said *mph I will admit that sir it was my last delivery and I’ll admit I was tired and went ten miles over the speed limit. I passed a man working which I believe is the owner after further research who started to scream, I rolled my window down to realize he was screaming I’m going over the speed limit. I apologized as driver then got out and yelled again “I’m so sorry sir” at this point he’s running towards my truck at this point my friend goes inside the facility to ask for assistance. He proceeds to run toward my vehicle and is now screaming vulgar raciest remarks. I informed him to please get away from my vehicle I felt scared he didn’t move at this point his wife is outside and my friend. No one is trying to help I now tell him I will call the police and he’s screaming I’ll get you fired I’ll call your F***** boss” so I told him that’s fine. My friend told him to get out of my face I was a women and he proceeded to scream vulgar things. After the incident I drove back to Amazon warehouse to explain what happened. I have the text I even sent to my boss. I was crying at the warehouse. This is the *rd time I’ve had been harassed or called names and even emailed before and got no response or help. I’m now suspended over whatever the customer said and got a email saying “My account is suspended and once investigated they will let me know” my problem with that is how do you investigate with one parties side. No one even asked my what happened. I work for Door Dash, waitr driver and grub hub all independent contractors and can proove my customer service has never been a problem. I have testimony’s from the apps that I could even email you. I worked I believe * days in roll before this incident and work most every shift I get. I just want to be heard like the customers are heard. My status goes down every time I get sent to a country area route hearing the N word, or getting a gun pulled, or a customer snatching a package is a every day thing for me, but I get up and do my job the same every day because I need my job. I’m a college student at prcc trying to go into the nursing program I pay my classes out of pocket so something like this is messes my life up. I just want to be heard and not judged before I’m heard. After what I’ve ready your a fair business man who reads all his comments so I hope this gets to you sir. Thanks for allowing me to work for Amazon just please at least hear the drivers out were not all bad apples just because a customer says we are :) feel free to call me at ********** Thanjs for your time I know your busy sir
