The issue in GetHuman-clarekir's own words
My order (ORDER * ***-*******-*******) was placed October ** with guaranteed *-day delivery. It should have arrived October **. On October ** Amazon emailed me to say that one item would arrive October ** and the other one on October **. I then received an emails saying one of the items would arrive October **. I spent ** minutes chatting with customer service on October **, and they revealed that one of the items was out of stock. I then went into my account to pay even more for expedited shipping. I spent another ** minutes on the phone with customer service on October **. They had no idea what was going on and were completely unhelpful. I need these items no later than Monday October **. If they are out of stock then Amazon should ship them to me overnight from another retailer (they are available elsewhere online). This has been the worst Amazon experience I've ever had after being a loyal, high-paying customer for years. This happens regularly with shipments and Amazon does nothing to inform customers when the items they purchase are out of stock.
GetHuman-clarekir did not yet indicate what Amazon should do to make this right.
