The issue in GetHuman-rd_clem's own words
II have been a Prime Member since Aug. **** and paid for a Full Year Membership at that time* Receipt *ZZS* KRMT *MPM TAHM W***. I received my current Credit Card statetment in today's mail, and you have charged me a additional Prime Membership fee of CAD$**.** as of March *****. When I went to Amazon's website, my account page shows that you plan to take this money without my permission on a monthly basis and that you have taken an additional payment -- TODAY! I have cancelled this duplicate Prime Membership and expect these charges to be reversed IMMEDIATELY. You did not have my permission to do this, and simply having access to my personal information does not give you the authority to charge my card.**I expect to hear from someone who will confirm that this money has been credited back to my card, and anticipate that you will notify me ahead of the August renewal to see if in fact, I choose to renew this service.*I am shocked at the sense of entitlement you appear to have with your customers, and will not allow this type of incident to be "swept under the rug".*I look forward to hearing from you by return.**Donna Clemas**I received an email reply from Customer service this morning, and they are refunding * of the unauthorized charges but are unwilling to refund the other. I never ordered this duplicate service, and have not given authorization for them to bill my Mastercard. I will not be paying this extra charge and want to know how I can reach Senior Management and Consumer Protection to tell them about this credit card abuse.*I would appreciate contact info I can follow up with from here.
