The issue in GetHuman-alonzoh's own words
Yesterday I received an email from Amazon reminding me to return the Hoover Vacuum cleaner from order ***-*******-*******. **“We're writing about your order, No. ***-*******-*******.*We wanted to let you know that we haven't received all the items that were expected to be returned. Please see the updated summary below for what's missing. If you've already sent the items, please disregard this message.*If you still have the items, you'll need to return them to avoid the charges, detailed below, to your payment instrument (Visa ending in ****).”**On March **, **** I ordered a Hoover Vacuum Cleaner Windtunnel MAX Bagged Corded Upright Vacuum UH*****. When it was delivered the wand and crevice tool were missing. I contacted Amazon on-line and was instructed to contact the manufacturer for replacement. After repeated attempts to secure the missing pieces from Hoover I contacted Amazon via chat and was told that the replacement pieces would be shipped. What arrived was a new vacuum cleaner. I clearly had indicated I needed the two replacement pieces so I was a bit surprised when the new vacuum arrived. There was no correspondence to indicate that the original vacuum was to be returned. Had I received any such indication I would have immediately returned the vacuum in the container used to ship the replacement (although the packaging was damaged). Hearing nothing, after a couple of weeks I recycled the shipping container and have been awaiting instructions from Amazon.**I have no problem keeping both vacuum cleaners and reimbursing Amazon the $***.** indicated in the April ** email but that will leave me with the original vacuum cleaner without the two missing parts which is why I contacted Amazon in the first place. Once I receive the missing parts I will immediately submit payment for the vacuum. **If Amazon would prefer me to return the original vacuum cleaner I will do so but do not have a container that will hold the item. My preference would be to simply receive the missing parts and pay for the completed order.**Thank you
