If you're having issues with a password, try resetting it using your email address (be sure to use the correct spelling). Click "Forgot Password" under the login, then follow the prompt. You should have the option to reset with your phone number.

The issue that I have experienced was: I received an email on Friday morning from Amazon stating that” as per my request, my email address had now been changed “ . I did not request that my email be changed and clearly Amazon did not do any checks to verify the information. I can provide the email address it was changed to if required. I telephoned Amazon within an hour of the email arriving yesterday morning and was told that the matter would be dealt with by another department. It seems that no fraudulent purchases had been made up to that point , but I am now completely locked out of my account as Amazon no longer recognises my real email address. I subscribe to Prime and Prime music. I had made over £** worth of purchases the night before this happened and now have no idea whether I’m going to receive them. Clearly I will not get any email notifications of shipping etc as they no longer have my email address. My chief concern is that I have about *** kindle books attached to my account, only about half of which I have read to date. They are downloaded on my kindle, but should that kindle break, I will have no access to the library I have built up and which has cost me around £**** over the years. *I am very disturbed that Amazon can just allow anyone to change an email address in this way, especially as a debit and a credit card are attached to my account. Since yesterday’s phone call I have had no response from Amazon.**It occurred on: ************This meant that This is causing me to feel very stressed and has totally undermined my confidence in Amazon**I want an apology and to have my access to my account and all kindle purchases fully restored . If my account has somehow vanished then I would expect to be compensated for the kindle content I have paid for.**I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.
