Made orders Oct ***** ****-*******-******* (extended warranty) & ****-*******-******* (chair) from seller in Alberta delivery date confirmed by Oct ***** to my address in Manitoba. Received shipping confirmation and tracking * LH*********US which ended up not coming from Alberta but from USA. Followed tracking through USPS and other tracking sites after it entered Canada to actually see where it was as USPS tracking updates simply mentioned a "Canada facility" and once it cleared Customs in Mississauga expected the next stop to be Winnipeg. I was surprised and puzzled to see it ended up in Calgary then Edmonton where a "Misrouted shipment" message came up. The next notification came on Oct ** being out for delivery which ended up being in Nisku, AB and a "Delivered" and picked up message came next. I emailed the seller on the **th and again on the **th as to what the status was for delivery back to my address in Manitoba and have received no response. My assumption was it may have had to be delivered to the seller and then shipped back to me which would be somewhat ridiculous but . . . ?*I am not looking for a refund I want the items ordered. I don't care where they come from, I've paid for them and would want the warranty to not start on the chair until I have received them which is not ** days later than originally expected. How GetHuman-rlfeakes fixed the problem
After attempting to contact seller Stewart Beck with no response I contacted Amazon by phone at ***-***-****. I discussed the situation with Stephen who after talking to his supervisor authorized an A to Z refund of my purchase and Amazon is now conducting an investigation to find out why the purchase I made was rerouted to a different address than was on the order confirmation. I have also requested an inquiry from Canada Post who the order was passed on to from USPS as to what address they were directed to deliver to. I was only able to accurately able to track the package using a separate tracking service as USPS only gives locations in the US and "Canada facility" whenever it reported a change in direction in Canada. Checking the tracking from the seller indicated it was delivered to me but in reality not the case. I look forward to seeing the results of the investigations and reordering the item and actually receiving it this time . . .
