I was trying to do something, and ran into a problem.
I have been flying Allegiant for a long time and I love my flight from Columbus to FLL. I have for yrs taken the same backpack as my personal item, never a problem as again it was not flying out of CMH April **th @ *:** pm. However on return flight, same backpack as always a very rude gate attendant charged me ** dollars or I could not board, I am asenior citizen on a very fixed income. I would not have made the trip had I known. I was in tears at the gate, one gate attendent passed me throught but the other one said no very disrespectfully. I do not have the money for this. I had to over draft and that cost me another ** dollars. It turned into a nightmare and ruined my trip. I was well within the rules. The plane was not full and I took pictures of my backpack being the only one in overhead. Flight attendant was very sorry as she could see I had been crying and told me to contact you and you would make it right.
Please make this right and refund me the ** dollars the gate agent charged me when I was well within the limit. One on the agents said I was fine and the rude black agent didnt care that I was approved, she said I could not board without paying. She caused a very big scene and passengers all said she was wrong. That was my very last bit of money, I would NOT have taken teip to see grandkids had I known. Please help me
