We stayed in an air BnB on the *th August for my **th birthday. Originally the plan was stay over with my mum and therefore this is what was reiterated to the host. Last minute plans changed and my boyfriend along with my best friend and her boyfriend decided to stay with me. Michelle (the host) met us at the apartment beforehand and therefore she saw for herself the guests and she did not express any problem with this. **During the stay we spent little time at the apartment as we went out for cocktails and food. We used the property for a couple of drinks and to get changed and sleep. **Yesterday, the host accused us of causing damage of £***.** to the property in respect to 'singing*Burn' marks on the upstairs bedroom floor. The host explained ths in a rude manner and made me feel very stressed and upset about the situation as none of the guests used any electrical items at the property. Michelle stated that it looks like straightners had been left on the floor when none of the guests even had straightners in their belonging. No electrical items were used as all we did was sleep in the upstairs bedroom. **I have been made to feel victimised and apprehensive about booking with air BnB again. It has spolit my birthday as the language michelle used was patronising and not understanding in the slightest. I am ** years old and dont have the sum of £***.** to send upon immediate request and certainly not for damage we know we didn't do. **I have asked michelle to send photos to my work email address as working in claims and fraud i want to look at the images properly. If i had caused the damage i would of apologised and suplimented the damage caused but I will not do this when i know me and my friends respected the apartment.**I upset about the situation and feel stressed and anxious.
