Hi*I made a reservation via Airbnb for Eureka Guest house in Mumbai from * Oct -* oct on **nd July. I got an email from the host of guest house on *th August to cancel the booking since their property is under repair and now they asking me to cancel. First of all , I suffer a loss since the new property I will book will be of higher amount due to the less time left for the trip. secondly even if I am ready to cancel the booking, Airbnb shows on it's portal that it will deduct service charge of RS *** approx from the total amount. Now I need full refund of my booking amount( including service charge) plus additional credit from the host since it was a fault on their part that they are cancelling the booking and I want the new cost of my booking to be shared by the host as written in the cancellation policy of Airbnb. Kindly assist my issue soon.
