Enquire about re-routing an existing ticket and the associated cost that would be involved ... Hi **We have all been unsuccessful in making any contact with Air Canada. Lucky for us this wasn't an urgent flight change we were needing! *My son keeps trying in Canada but gets a " We are experiencing a larger than normal volume of class and cannot phone you back" message. ** I have tried various customer service numbers from Website **** *** *** & *********** from Australia but they are always engaged. I emailed case number CAS-*******-P*P*R** asking:**Subject: Re-Route End Destination*Message: My son has a return flight booked to Australia but may want to change the departure date from ********* to ********** and the end destination to Oslo to meet us for a family holiday. Is this possible and what would be the cost difference? We would appreciate your response as soon as possible as we are finalizing our travel arrangements & flights for May *June **** & are unsure what to do with Dane's booking* flights etc.**but they said that they couldn't deal with the question & to ring. ***I have tried another number from the website *********** but I get an invalid number response.**I am not sure if you have any insider tips for how I might get through or a different phone number to try but this is really really poor customer service & makes me feel like we should never choose Air canada again as they must be under-staffed etc **Thanks
There is no way of speaking to anyone in Canada or Australia to get an answer. We have been trying for ** days and the same issues are reoccurring. No response possible via email & no ability to talk in person to anyone as number is always engaged indicating a lack of staffing & attention to customer service needs
* A call back and details of how we should make contact for an emergency situation where weeks of time and prayers are not available in the hope that an issue can be resolved. **More staff to answer and return calls would be needed overall to rectify the situation moving forward.
We have travelled as a family before to Canada from Australia. My son has also flown to Canada & back to Australia using the Air Canada last year & flew over again using Air Canada earlier this month. His return ticket (which we wish to enquire about re-routing is also with Air Canada. I think the length of time someone has been a customer is not that relevant as this ongoing poor customer service is relevant to the reputation of the entire airline.
Called all numbers as per website many times every day I also emailed ( as per description) but have been told that Air Canada cant respond and that I should ring. Ringing is not possible as there is no answer!!**Even with this service which promised I would avoid being on hold and wasting more time has now led to more time wasting and frustration!!!!
