Me and my family was traveling from Ottawa to Colombo through Air Canada AC *** on **th Sept. **** ( booking reference - AIUEKV) (Ticket number *************) and it was delayed due to technical failure. When we land in Toronto our flight has already depart ,So Air Canada connect us through Emirates EK ***.(booking reference APFRRI), We had two back packs and three carry on and Air Canada allowed us the baggage allowance. When we came to Emirates counter they told us to put the back pack into main luggage and make it **KG and pay $***. As we had to pay but it is not our fault .First I spoke to Air Canada they told me to inform this to Emirates but when I spoke to Emirates they told me to contact Air Canada as they said it's not their fault. We know Emirates baggage rules but from Air Canada should have done something about that, so I would appreciate if I can have a refund* Thank you
