The issue in GetHuman924430's own words
I think I downloaded a scam version of an Adobe update. I can't tell if I have gotten rid of it, and which parts of my Adobe programs are legitimate and which aren't, and therefore, which updates are and are not legitimate. I have Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Acrobat Reader. There is no obvious way I can find from your support how to deal with this, although I know it must be a common problem for many of your customers. Is there a process for making sure I have completely cleared my system of any malware versions of Adobe programs? Should I uninstall and then reinstall everything Adobe just to be sure? Is there a reason not to uninstall and then reinstall everything? Please help me. I feel uncomfortable opening any Adobe programs in fear that they aren't the legitimate ones, and am especially unable to tell which update notifications are legitimate. I would like to just know my system is cleared of the fake stuff so I can go back to using my Adobe programs.**Thank you!
