I am a disabled veteran I went into an AT&T cooperate store to achieve two things to buy the New Samsung S** us and apply for my military discount I was met by rep zac. He told me I couldn't get the discount because the account was tied to my ssn and my wife needed to turn responsibility over to me. I explained I was already getting a **% discount through my employer and I was on the account as well. He told me someone had done it against company policy and he wasnt going to help me. I called my wife and she called At&t customer service who said they could absolutely do it no problem and he would call the store ****B on grape and day road and speak to zac. The reps name was Charles. So I went back inside the store and waited again for zac . When he finally came back over I explained too him what charles had said and he responded he didn't care who called he wasn't going to do it no matter who called on the phone and besides that they arent allowed to answer the phone. I then contacted at&t and got the account cancelled and put in my name for financial reponsibilty which I shouldn't have had to do. This whole event took approximately * * hours to complete. I then went into the store got the discount applied to my account and left the store without purchasing the phone due to the fact I was upset and if I could I would cancel my service and go to another service. I have never been treated in this manner before I appreciate what At&t is doing for the military but this is not how you treat customers.
