Strength in numbers! Companies respond better when others are watching.
Before contacting them, items GetHuman-campodr may need:
Phone number, Account number, Account PIN, Account email, Service address, Name, and IMEI number
Top Tip from another customer
To cancel your AT&T account you will need to call into support. But before, you should find another provider and check to see if your number is portable, meaning you can bring the phone number to another company.

Re: acct **************We went in to the AT&T store in Dec **** looking for info on switching our lines from Verizon (which we had for over ** years) so that we could bundle all our AT&T services....well it turns out your salesman screwed us. He convinced us to put the acct in our business name, get the buy one get one free offer plus a multitude of other credits. Upon never receiving a bill we called and found out the salesman put the account in the wrong name with the wrong address. We finally got that squared away but the next issue was we were told we could convert the account to personal (so we could bundle) with all the same credits*conditions as before after ** days. Now that the ** days are up and we call back we are being told if they transfer our account to personal we will lose our buy one get one free deal! This is NOT what we signed up for or were told by previous customer service reps. AT&T has been nothing but a headache since we switched from Verizon. If we can’t get the deal we were originally offered so we can bundle our services how do we get out of doing business with a company that obviously doesn’t care about their customers???

GetHuman-campodr did not yet indicate what AT&T should do to make this right.
