Hello my name is Sherri Evans, I'm writing to you with Hope's that you can help, I saw another article where you all helped another person dealing with this company. Long story short I canceled my att DirecTV service in august. I was instructed to return equipment and look out for final bill. The day after I canceled service I was billed online **.**. I contacted a representative and was assured that all was well disregard charges and just pay final bill when it comes. Knowing how companies can be, I followed up with a chat with a rep online so I could have the transcript as proof because one of the main reasons I canceled the service was because the inconsistencies between att and DirecTV. Anyway I did finally recieve final bill and paid it around *** (i had to pay early termination fees)and returned all their equipment. I thought all was well then received a bill for the **.** in mail in October. I spent hours being shuffled between att and DirecTV, finally being directed to their combined billing department. I spoke with several representatives stating that the charges were false dont worry. Then I escalated call to see who could fix it so I wouldn't keep receiving Bill's. I spoke with a lady and have her agent number she confirmed charges were wrong and that she would fix it. Guess what...I got a bill dated Oct **. So I call this morning and the rep say well after all that it looks like you do owe that amount . I ask to speak with a supervisor who says the same thing. At this point after being told by several reps that it is wrong now today * say it's right. I feel it's not hood business. You tell me it all good now you are threatening to send to collections. I've never been late on a bill in my life and took care of what was supposed to and I'm not here to stand for it. Please help
