The issue in GetHuman-daphbria's own words
On September **, ****, I called Direct TV to have our service transferred to a new address.*I visited with Reva at Direct TV. She said we could receive a free upgrade, free move service and if we would renew our contract for * more years, she could give us the service for $** for the first year and $**.** for the second year. When we received our bill, our charges were $**.** for our package and $**.** for equipment This is not what I signed up for. If I knew this was going to happen, I would not have agreed to a new contract. I would have kept the old one. When I called today and talked to Andy, she stated there is no record in your system for that information. Reference **********. We have different options now for television and I would not have continued with Direct tv if I knew this was going to happen. We have been with Direct tv for a long time now but I'm thinking about cancelling our service. The service was moved to our new home, but the address was not changed and the local news stations were not changed until I specifically asked for them to be different. If I call and ask to move my service, I assumed it would be obvious that my service address would be different. *Please see what can be done about this.
