Trying to find additional help with expediting this claim before retaining an ERISA attorney. ... They are refusing to process my short term disability. they are prolonging the processing time and limiting their information to help me better understand how i can help to expedite the processing. i've been attempting a solution since the end of may for a reverse decision that my physician failed to put on the form as another diagnosis code which caused them to deny on the first submission. i've since provide the appropriate diagnosis with additional documentation and they still give me different information each day that i call for an update.*I've since been terminated from my job, while under the doctor care, and now i can't afford to pay the premiums although a rep told me that they can waive a couple of premiums and it doesnt matter about losing employment because they have to acknowledge when the claim was first submitted. they sent a "physician questionnaire" to my doctor , which my doctor office stated they only sent an authorization form and no other document was attached, however, they sent me a letter stating the claim is on hold until they receive the form back...this been since July * when faxed* they are refusing to send me the form to take to my doctor to ensure they are receive it to send it. I told them that no matter how long it takes them to process my decision that i am not giving up-because that's what they want. I call now everyday.
This affecting my medical condition even further because i'm under so much stress and causing more headaches, which is why my doctor have me off work. i have a brain aneurysm thats monitored and i should not be under stress or bills are past due

I have been a customer with Aflac for ** years or more personally. when i transitioned from my last employer i had aflac and i started again with the current employer but before that almost twenty years ago i was covered under my ex husband policy, so I can say i have patronized this company for roughly **yrs. Never would i of ever thought i would go through this when i especially needed them the most for a serious medical claim.
