Regarding case* ********, I cancelled my account on **** because * of my sensors including my carbon monoxide were going off for no reason again and I spent * hours talking to at least * different people in account management and tech support, but no one could tell me how to quiet the alarms and an appointment could not be made until the following week. Some of the reps were rude* one hung up on me. I had this same problem over the summer, the fire department was called twice for the false alarm and a technician was sent out. But I am still having the issue, so I am not confident that sending a technician out again will resolve the issue. On ****, ADT called and convinced me to keep the service for a lower rate on the condition the technician would replace my equipment and not have to interrupt my internet service. However, when he came, not only was he unaware of the full scope of the problem, but he could not do anything without interrupting my internet. So, it was a waste of time. If ADT doesn’t explain to their technicians what the problem is and that the equipment needs replaced, my problem cannot be fixed. I called ADT on **** stating I want to move forward with canceling my service and was told it is still set to cancel *****. But I am still getting calls to set up appointment. So, I am sending this to confirm and hopefully get through to ADT that I want my account canceled.
