I am writing you to notify you of my experience with ADT Security Services. On ********** I had your system installed for the rate of $**.***month (Now $**.**). I had * motion detectors, * touch screen panel, * contacts, a key fob, and a radio installed. Within the next week, I had received several calls of my alarm going off. It was my living room motion detector. Turns out one of my dogs had set off the alarm. At that time, my dogs both weighed ** lbs. In my phone conversation with your saleswomen, prior to signing up for this system, this was not a problem. A technician had come back out, moved the motion detector to another room, and said if it goes off again my options were to A) never use my “armed away” mode (not utilize motion detector) or B) put a gate up and not allow my dogs on that side of my house. So for the past year and a half, I have been walking through the $** gate in the middle of my house. (Just to be able to use my ADT alarm). I had then requested on ******** to cancel my contract at no cost. I was told this was not sufficient reasoning to void the contract and I would have to pay out the contract. In the past weeks I have had been woken up multiple times to an error code alarm (*** Comm. Trouble) on my touch panel. Twice today… After my second call with ADT, today, I now have my panel unplugged and my panel wide open with the battery taken out. My ADT alarm system is now useless and I now have no security alarm monitoring until another technician comes back out. Please let me know what you can do to correct these horrible experiences. If nothing, I am again requesting to cancel my contract, at no cost to myself, as my contract is not being fulfilled. Please let me know what you would like to do here.
