I booked a cruise in October **** for May **** travel. Hilary in the Worthington office booked my trip. She told me not to worry about when the final payment was due because I told her I was so busy with work. Hilary stares to me she would notify me when the final was due. I was off work for a short period of time, pulled out my travel details and realized I missed the final payment. I phoned Hilary. She she didn’t know how she missed that. She then stated Royal Caribbean didn’t notify her. She said she would call me back. She called back and said the good news was They could still get me on the ship but the bad news was, I lost my suite. I was very upset. Hilary told me I wasn’t her only customer. She has a lot of people she is working with. She gave me the new FINAL amount due for the cruise and stated I would still owe $*,*** for the Orlando part of the trip. Hilary said she would send me a new itinerary. The itinerary showed the wrong time for the transfers and a couple other things. I emailed Hilary with no response. I called Hilary and left messages with no response. I called and left a message with Hilary’s supervisor, with no response. I did speak to another “girl” in the office and she stated my transfers didn’t make sense and she would help me. She was to call me the next day. The girl did not call, Hilary called. Hilary stated she was going to call me but got busy. I paid for my Orlando portion and Hilary said ok, all paid in full. I asked Hilary to send me a new itinerary with the times spelled out, esp for the transfers. Hikary said she didn’t know if she could do that. Hilary sent a new itinerary but the times were not on it and the meal time was wrong. I sent an email to Hilary telling her the times were still not there and the meal time was wrong. Today I received an email back from Hilary saying she couldn’t change the meal time. I can try to change it when I get on the ship. She also told me that when she gave me the new price she didn’t add in the prepaid gratuities that I had before and now I owe her another $***. I book trips a lot. I am so upset and totally disappointed with AAA. I should have my time dining and I should have my prepaid gratuities without having to pay another dime. This travel agent has made this planning horrible. I have no faith this trip is going to go smoothly. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a travel agent and I travel all the time. I have used AAA many times but if a resolution is not offered, I will never use AAA again. If resolution is not made to my satisfaction, I’m going to contact * on your side and post on FB this very negative experience. I sincerely hope you turn this nightmare experience around. I cannot believe the inadequate way my trip has been handled and I am appalled I didn’t receive a call back from the supervisor.
