This was my second time using the saliva collection kit. The first kit had an issue with the amount of DNA that was viable or something like that and I got my replacement kit. Which is fine, however since I was more comfortable with the process. I resealed my collection kit with my collection tube inside, before I registered the kit. And so I reopened the kit to quickly register the tube, and when I was done I closed it again. I’ve since realized that **&me auto registers the replacement kits and all I have to do is log back into my other account. Which isn’t the problem. The problem is now it appears that my kit might’ve been tampered with during shipping (I know it’s not, because I was the one who opened it). My question is, will I need yet another collection kit because of my blunder? If that’s an obstacle that will affect whether or not my kit gets processed. Maybe there’s something I can do on my end that will ensure that it does. Sorry for the inconvenience. I appreciate your help.
