What forms of payment are accepted for filing documents?

Asked 10 months ago
The Virginia Secretary of State accepts various forms of payment for filing documents. You can pay with a personal or business check, cashier's check, or money order. Additionally, credit or debit cards are accepted for online filings only. When paying with a check, make sure it is drawn on a US bank account and payable to the Virginia State Corporation Commission. You must also include your contact information, document type, and entity name on the payment. Payments made in person can also be made using cash, but it is recommended to bring exact change. Please note that payment methods may vary depending on the specific document or service being filed.
